The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre has announced it has the busiest April for events at the venue since 2009 – a true vote of confidence in the exhibition industry.
As many as 1,100 delegates attended the 10th annual Routes Europe held at the AECC on 12th-14th April, and the Betway Premier League Darts season kicked off on 16th April. Looking ahead, VisitScotland Expo is set to take place on 22nd and 23rd April, and completing the month’s line up is the Aberdeen Whisky Festival, Scotland’s Franchise Show and Energy Cities’ Annual Conference.
Mark Thompson, Co-Founder of exhibition stand supplier Printdesigns said, “We keep up with developments in the exhibition industry, and this news from the AECC is significant as it shows the industry is going from strength to strength. Whatever dip venues have experienced in the past few years is waning, and I think it’s because consumers are actively seeking opportunities for physical and social interaction in an increasingly digital world.”
Printdesigns has been expanding thanks to supply and demand ever since its inception in 1999. By bulk buying, owning a large warehouse which stocks up to 3,000 stands at a time and ensuring nothing is outsourced, Printdesigns is a leading company in its field and offers the best value on display stands in the UK.
Innovation is also at the heart of the company, and last year Printdesigns launched its latest revolutionary invention – the TEXstyle range. These display stands use textile graphic panels rather than printing onto heavy duty PVC which is easily damaged and difficult to store. The business hired more specialist staff to be able to manufacture and sew the products in-house, instead of following suit of competitors and sending manufacturing and distribution over to Asia.
Mark added, “If venues around the UK are starting to see an increase in trade events similar to the AECC, then we are on hand to deal with the demand. We help businesses large and small stand out in a crowd, whilst always being affordable.”
