The BBC children in Need appeal raised over £20 Million pounds on the evening of Friday 20th November this year ! This is despite the current recession and a clear indication of how the British public can step-up to the challenge of raising money for worthwhile causes even in harder times.
We have been producing display stands for Children In Need for the last 3 years which have been used not only on the night but also up and down the country to promote awareness of fund-raising events. We’ve even had a giant PVC banner assembled here at our offices for visitors to see!
In addition to regular roller banner stands, this year we supplied our new 2M wide Giant Banner Stand which proved a big hit, delivering big impact in a portable package!
For those who were tuned in on Friday evening, you may also have seen a giant cheque for in excess of £2 Million which was made by Printdesigns & later presented by Gary Barlow in respect of the money raised by Children In Need Rocks The Royal Albert Hall.
Donations for the campaign are still flooding in from events that have been run this year and as such we hope to see the total of the donations growing!
Printdesigns are proud to be associated with Children In Need and the great work that is achieved through the worthy caused that are supported. We hope that our range of display stands and exhibition stands have gone some way to helping promoting this awareness.
